FleetLocate (By Spireon)

FleetLocate by Spireon has a few different account types, and the setup for these vary based on what you have:

  1. FleetLocate: NSpire
  2. FleetLocate: GeoTab
  3. FleetLocate: Legacy

Based on what you have, read the appropriate section below to get setup.



FleetLocate NSpire​

To join Chaine's network if you have FleetLocate NSpire (By Spireon), you must

  1. Contact your Spireon representative and request an ‘application token’ to be generated in order to join the Chaine network.
  2. Once you have received your token, copy it.
  3. Paste in your copied ‘Application Token’, along with your Spireon NSpire username and password in the Chaine ELD form. Make sure to select FleetLocate (By Spireon) in the ELD provider dropdown.


FleetLocate GeoTab​

If you have FleetLocate GeoTab (By Spireon), please follow the instructions here. If you are unsure whether you have FleetLocate GeoTab, then you can confirm if either of the below are true:

  1. Your login url has 'geotab' in like. Example: https://my112.geotab.com/abc_company/
  2. Your login url looks like: https://fleetlocate246.byspireon.com/company_name/


FleetLocate Legacy​

If you ahve FleetLocate Legacy, which is the case if you use https://fleet.spireon.com/ as your login, then you the instructions are the same as for FleetLocate NSpire.

  1. Contact your Spireon representative and request an ‘application token’ to be generated in order to join the Chaine network.
  2. Once you have received your token, copy it.
  3. Paste in your copied ‘Application Token’, along with your FleetLocate legacy username and password in the Chaine ELD form. Make sure to select FleetLocate (By Spireon) in the ELD provider dropdown.
