Enabling the RMIS App

If you have an RMIS account, you can connect it to your Chaine account to get carrier status and information from RMIS on all carrier offers in Chaine.

To get started, you must ask your RMIS representative for the following three pieces of information:

  1. Your domain name. This can also be found in the URL when you are logged into RMIS. It will look something like https://yourdomain.rmissecure.com in which case yourdomain is your domain name. If you don't have a domain name for your RMIS account, then you can leave this blank when enabling the RMIS app in Chaine.
  2. A client ID to use for API integration with Chaine
  3. A client password to use for API integration with Chaine

Once you have this information, you can enable the RMIS app in Chaine by following these steps:

  1. Login in to Chaine
  2. Click your Avatar on the top right which will open a menu
  3. Select Settings
  4. In the Settings menu, select Apps
  5. Find the RMIS app, and click Enable, and then again on the confirmation pop-up
  6. You will asked to add your RMIS domainname, client id and client password. If you don't have this available, ask your RMIS account manager for this information.
  7. Click 'Enable' and thats it
