Ocean Visibility
This page contains information on the request and response needed for ocean cargo tracking.
Chaine's ocean visibility is event based where registered tracking is published to a webhook you provide.
The flow is:
- A tracking request is registered via BOL or Container number
- Chaine will get tracking information for the registered BOLs or containers regularly through out the day
- Events are then published back to a webhook you specify. If nothing has changed from the last time it was published, we will not publish a duplicate event. For a list of events, see the Ocean Events section.
